1) School Board Election, Nottingham: Mrs. Cowen speaks at the election. An excerpt of her address is included. 2) Suffrage: Mrs. McLaren and Mrs. Ashworth Hallet speak at a meeting in Bristol. Their addresses are reproduced in paraphrase. Ireland: Laura Ormiston Chant is mentioned as speaker at a meeting in Belfast. "A series of meetings were also held [in different locations]. These meetings were addressed by Miss Tod, Miss C. A. Biggs, and Mrs. Chant." 3) Medical Women for India: "Dr. Frances Hoggan delivered a lecture before the Balloon Society on Medical Women for India, in the Lecture Room of the Aquarium." Her lecture is paraphrased at some length. A second female speaker is mentioned. 4) Female Clerks in the London Schoolboard: Miss Muller's remarks concerning the employment of female clerks are reproduced extensively. 5) Miscellaneous - Aristotelian Society: "Miss S. Wood introduced the discussion of Berkeley's 'Principles of Human Knowledge.'" Church of England Temperance Society: Several women speak at a public conference. At a subsequent meeting, Mrs. Stone "was in the chair, and a speech which delighted the audience was delivered by Mrs. Pearson." Girls' Temperance Club, Belfast: An excerpt from a speech by Isabella Tod is included. She speaks on temperance and social obligations at a conversazione. Grave Moral Questions: "Miss Ellice Hopkins, the authoress of important works on social questions, gave an address in the Albert Hall, Huntly Street, Aberdeen, on 'Grave Moral Questions, Address to thoughtful women. The meeting was open to women only." The address is summarised, and it is mentioned that Hopkins is to repeat it the following day to a male audience.
