Lady Henry delivered an address of welcome to her. 2) "Mrs. Luty [...] made a stirring speech at Exeter Hall 'on behalf of the White Ribbon women of the rural districts.'" 3) Miss Hallie Q. Brown, an 'accomplished speaker and professor of elocution in Wilberforce University, is mentioned. 4) "Lady Henry Somerset is soon to preside and Miss Willard to address a meeting in Exeter Hall in the interest of this university.
