Abstract

1) "A number of our BWTA speakers and superintendents having expressed a desire that som plan should be adopted by which they might be more fully instructed in the best way of doing platform work, it has been decided to try the plan of a School for speakers [...]." The courses will cover a variety of aspects important for public speaking, such as elocution, preparation of speeches, gestures and body languages, and many more. 2) Mrs. Fehr's speaking efforts in the North London branches are highlighted, as is her use of 'apt and forcible illustrations.'
