1) Miss Agnes Slack's successful speaking trough America is mentioned, where she addresses several large meetings each week. 2) Several women spoke at a Branch meeting of the B.W.T.A. held at the Temperance Hall, Highstreet, Taunton. A letter by Lady Henry Somerset was read, and several resolutions were passed. 3) At a tea-meeting for Goose Fair Showmen, hosted by the committee of the B.W.T.A. at Circus-street Hall, Mrs. Pearson, among several men, delivered an address.
