Abstract

1) Educational Conference. Victorian Era Exhibition: Elizabeth Garrett Anderson, Mary Scharlieb, and Miss Ellaby read papers on �Medical Training for Women,� �Medical Women in India,� and �The Care of the Sight in Childhood and Youth,� respectively. Scharlieb�s paper is summarised. 2) Edinburgh School of Medicine for Women: At a prize distribution ceremony, Sophia Jex Blake makes remarks on the success rate of the School�s graduates in response to Dr. John Sibbald�s congratulatory speech.
