Account of the Convention. Susan B. Anthony's opening address on how the Seneca Falls Convention was orignated by herself, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Mary Ann McClintock, and its initial reception, is reproduced. The Reverend Anna Shaw gives "her report as 'vice president at large' of the association." Her remarks are summarised. A list of topics addressed is given, including speakers, as well as summaries of speeches deemed especially interesting. [This section appears to be taken from the Washington Star.] It is mentioned that "[t]he speakers were provided with manuscript addresses and confined strictly to a limited time in which to present their views."
