1) An 'At Home', hosted by Miss Campbell-Lang, President of the Women's International Progressive Union, at St. James's Hall, recitations were given, and Madlle. Adrienne Veigelé, the founder of the Union, spoke. 2) Mrs. Ellis Griffith gave a lecture on "Welsh Music" at the Royal Medical Institution, Hanover Square. 3) Miss Dixon is mentioned to be preparing a paper on the medieval Florentine wool trade, which she will read before the Royal History Society. 4) Miss Mellinger, an American evangelist missionary who works in Armenia, is currently reported to be in London seeking aid in helping the Armenian christian children and women affected by the Turkish massacre.
