Abstract
Describes Miss Robinson's public speaking in front of a group of soldiers, and how she initially baffled the men, but also how she was confronted by them and frequently by members of the church of england, who opposed her public speaking and lecturing on matters of religion, and particularly in front of this audience. In her speeches she maily addressed temperance and religious matters, which the soldiers followed with much attention.
