Abstract
"I think Miss Balgarnie, in her address on 'The New Woman,' was on thoroughly sound lines. She thought the present 'New Woman' would pass away and be succeeded by those with nobler aims; the idea now was to ape men in everything, even to the dress. She had no love for masculine women, that was not her ideal, nor the ideal of many others."
