Abstract

"Mrs. Brander, the Inspectress of Girls' Schools in Madras, has just read a paper upon the education of Indian women before the National Indian Association." In her report she addressed both the difficulties which still exist, but also the great advances in securing female education for Indian girls which had already been made. The author comments on her address.
