Abstract

Briefly chronicles "the origin and doings" of the Women's Educational Society of Leipzig and mentions an address delivered by Auguste Schmidt on women's financial independence as the society's inception. Under the Society's auspices, lectures are given by female speakers to exclusively female audiences.
