Abstract
1) The Woman's Chronicle mentions the Archbishop of Canterbury's wife presiding at a political meeting as indicative of women's rights being more extensive in the UK than the USA. 2) "That 'platform women' do marry has just been proven again." 3) Frances Willard gives an address praising women's work in founding national societies, and argues that their suitedness to the task and organisational talent derive from motherly qualities.
