Abstract

1) "Mrs. Fenwick Miller has been addressing public meetings on behalf of the candidature of her husband, Mr. Ford, for the London County Council." 2) "In the programme of papers to be read during the present session before the Ruskin society of Glasgow is one by Miss Sarah S. Hennell, for February 4th, on 'The Principle of Balance in the Universe.'" 3) "The Hon. Mrs. Pelham, whose husband, the Rector of Lambeth, is a candidate for the London County Council, spoke at a meeting of women on Tuesday. Mrs. J. H. Lile, the wife of another candidate, presided; Mrs. D. Campbell also spoke." 4) Mentions a series of female speakers who spoke at meetings organised by Jane Cobden.
