Abstract

1) "Mrs. Charles, Poor Law Guardian for Paddington, [...] moved a resolution to the effect that certificates which consign persons to lunatic asylums should be much more carefully prepared" 2) A paper by an absent female member is read at a meeting of the Fröbel Society. "Miss Davenport also addressed the meeting." 3) "Miss Lillie Devereux Blake [...] has begun a series of evening lectures in New York on 'The Pilgrim Mothers.'"
