1) Women's Suffrage: Miss Beddoe, Miss Mordan, and Miss Abney Walker speak at a private meeting. The Women's Franchise Bill: Millicent Fawcett speaks on the progress of the suffrage movement, and the Franchise Bill. Millicent Fawcett and Lilias Ashworth Hallett speak at a drawing-room meeting. 2) Women Poor Law Guardians: "Miss Anna Ely [...] read an interesting paper on 'The Work of Women Guardians' at a drawing-room meeting." Hastings: At a public meeting, Miss Hall gives "an interesting address of thirty-five minutes' duration in proposing [a] resolution." Miss Moseley addresses the meeting as well. Her speech is reproduced. 3) London Elections - Chelsea: At "a large and crowded meeting," Miss Spottiswode gives a paper "on her own experiences since she was first elected Guardian." 4) Political Associations: "Miss Minnie Holmes gave a very interesting paper on 'Women as Guardians of the Poor,'" which is briefly summarised. At a meeting of "the women of the Altrincham Polling Division," Miss Wubbe gives an address. Southport: "Miss Hudson read an interesting paper upon the 'Scotch Crofters." 5) Women in Science: "Dr. Kate Mitchell is giving a series of lectures in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall, Oxford, on 'Physiology in its relation to Health.'"
