Abstract
"In answer to inquiries about women speaking in public in Paris, Madame de Morsier replied that it was very difficult for them to do so there. Public opinion was so unused to it. 'I only speak on philanthropy; never on politics. With the exception of the women of the Revolutionary party, Marie Deraisme and I are the only public speakers in Paris.'" Mentions that de Morsier organises the Women's Congress on Civil Rights in Paris.
