1) Manchester Women's Christian Temperance Association: Three female speakers give reports of work being done in the context of the Association's mission. A resolution is moved by Mrs. Ecroyd (quoted) and the Association's secretary, Miss Haslam, speaks. 2) Mrs. Leavitt at the "Vic": Mrs. Gibson presides at a meeting of the British Women's Temperance Association. Mrs. Leavitt speaks of her efforts in promoting temperance and mentions having addressed 1,369 meetings in five years. 3) London Women's Council of the United Kingdom Alliance: Mrs. W. S. Caine presides at a meeting. Four female speakers are mentioned. 4) Miss Brodrick's Lecture in the British Museum: Announces a course of six lectures "on Ancient Egyptian History and Antiquities."
