Abstract

1) Miss Joanna Baker succeeds her father in the chair of Greek at Simpson College, Iowa. 2) On the occasion of the birthday celebrations for Frances Willard at the First Methodist Church in Eveston, Illinois, Mrs. Elizabeth W. Andrew spoke for the Women's Christian Temperance Union, and Mrs. E.B. Harbert on behalf of the Women's Council.
