Abstract

At a meeting of the Leeds Women's Liberal Federation, a new West Ward branch of the association was formed. On the same occasion, Ms. Laura Passavant addressed the issue whether women were also citizens, progressing from there to discuss the implications which the status as an 'official citizen' entailed. After her, Mrs. J.W. Connon spoke about the people's reluctance to go to the poll, and the need to educate them to change this situation.
