Abstract

1) Margaret Lady Sandhurst on Women's Suffrage: Paraphrases her speech on suffrage as the surest way to restore "the true ideal of womanhood." 2) Mrs. James Taylor: Paraphrases her comment on a petition by women against the opening of a new public house being disregarded. 3) Miss Young of Warrington gives "lectures and demonstrations of cookery to the poor and lower middle classes." 4) Trades' Unions for Women: Miss Clementina Black illustrates and argues for the necessity for women's trades' unions, using a number of examples. She answers questions after her speech.
