Abstract
1) "Miss Amy [sic] Reade [...] is about to give a series of public addresses upon the degradation of the system used in training females for circus and acrobatic shows." 2) "Miss Amelia B. Edwards, LL.D., who is becoming as distinguished a lecturer as she has for long been a writer, announces a very interesting subject for the last course of lectures she is now delivering in Boston. It is 'Queen Hatasu and the Women of Ancient Egypt.'"
