Abstract
At the annual meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary Council, which was held as part of the Conference of the National Union of Conservatives, Mrs. Muntz gave a speech bemoaning the lack of energy in Conservative circles, both male and female, and the dominance of a merely defensive attitude. The Afternoon was then followed by a reception for ladies at the castle of Nottingham given by the Duchess of Portland.
