1) Glasgow: At the annual meeting of the Women's Liberal Unionist Association several women, among them Miss Crum Ewing, Mrs. Arthur, Mrs. Parker Smith and Mrs. Richardson addressed the mixed audience. 2) Paisley: On the invitation of Mrs. Arthur, a meeting of the Women's Liberal Unionist Association was held at her home, Barshaw House. In the course of the gathering, Mrs. Richardson spoke to the attendants about the state of Ireland, and how the situation there could be changed for the better in the interest of the Association.
