Abstract

1) Ladies' Auxiliary Council: The Marchioness of Hertford chairs at the annual meeting and Mrs. Müntz reads "a paper on the Work of the Council." Quotes Mrs. Bennie on modes of goverment as relating to questions about marriage and the quality of life. 2) Miss Nevill addresses a large, enthusiastic audience on election experiences and canvassing. 3) Hastings and St. Leonard's Dames' Habitation: Miss Ludlam presides and Lady Hardman makes an appeal for assisting Habitations in Ireland. 4) Mrs. Morant chairs at the annual meeting of the Lymington Habitation.
