Abstract

1) "Miss Amye Reade lectured at West Kensington Lecture Hall, Challoner Road, on Monday, on 'Circus Girls and Women Acrobats.'" 2) "Miss Florence Balgarnie will read a paper on 'The Non-enfranchisement of Women considered as a Stumbling Block to National Progress,' at a meeting of the Paddington Women's Liberal Association to be held on January 30th [...] by the kind invitation of Mrs. Woolcott Browne." 3) "Mrs. Mole of Liverpool has organised a Women's Trades' Union Meeting in that city for Monday next. Miss Abraham and Mrs. Barber, the secretary of the Laundresses' Union, will address the gathering." 4) "Mrs. Helen M. Gougar addressed five hundred students of the National Normal University at Lebanon, O., U.S.A., on Women's Suffrage, last week."
