Abstract

1) Mrs. Howe in the Pulpit: Mrs. Howe addressed the congregation of the Unitarian Church at Oakland, CA, on 'Women and the Ministry', demanding that the female side of religion should best be taught by women. Her sermon was listened to with much interest. 2) Miss Anthony in S. Dakota: During her campaigning tour in South Dakota to promote female suffrage, Susan B. Anthony addressed large audiences in fifteen of the principal cities. 3) Suffrage in British Columbia: Miss Matilda Hindman lectured at Vancouver, to promote unlimited suffrage for the people of British Columbia.
