1) Conversazione: Laura Ormiston Chant reports on her experiences of women's work in the United States. 2) Mrs. Ingram Walker's Drawing-Room Meeting: Mrs. Broadley-Walker presides and addresses the meeting on the "three stages of development" of the movement for female suffrage. The entry at length reproduces a speech on the necessity of dedication to the cause of suffrage (speaker unclear, possibly Emily Conybeare). Speeches by Harriot Stanton Blatch and Florence Balgarnie are also reproduced.
