Abstract

At a meeting held in the private rooms of Mrs. Septimus Buss, The East London Liberal and Radical Union heard a speech by Miss Jessie Thompson, who addressed the issue of fair wages, and urged women to form unions to support them in their fight for better wages and working conditions. Mrs. Labouchere commented on the speech, and supported it.
