Abstract

1) Stockport Women's Liberal Association: "The services of Miss Augusta Brown, of London, had been enlisted, and during the evening she gave an interesting and forcible lecture on Women's Wages and Women's Votes." Mrs. Rayner gives an opening address. Brown's speech is summarised. 2) West Derby Women's Liberal Association: Mrs. Callender Moss and Mrs. E. Stewart-Brown are paraphrased. Both speak on the Clitheroe abduction case and the restitution of conjugal rights. 3) Hazel Grove: Gives "extracts" from Mrs. Winbolt's "interesting and amusing address" on women in politics and women's rights. Includes parenthetical commentary.
