1) Walsall: Miss Disturnal delivered a lecture on the Elementary Education Act. Lady W. Foster opened the meeting and remarked that since her youth, a lot had changed in the attitudes toward education. 2) Brighton Women's Liberal Association: Miss Conybeare gave a lecture on "Eviction Scenes and Trials in Ireland." 3) Edinburgh Women's Liberal Association: A lecture was given on the subject of "Irish Ballad Poetry." 4) Scottish Women's Liberal Federation: Mrs. Beith and Miss Macdonell read papers on "The Relation of the Federation to the Affiliated Association." Mrs. Lang-Todd and Miss Kellie read papers on "Methods of Work in a Town and Country Constituency." Several women spoke in the evening: Lady Aberdeen, Miss Wigham, Mrs. Lindsay, and Miss Macdonell.
